THE MISSION

wear blue: run to remember and Team Red, White & Blue (Team RWB) are setting aside their own colors to move together under one banner: the American flag. Not the wear blue flag. Not the Team RWB flag.

The American flag.

One flag, forward.

Starting September 12, 2026, an American flag will travel 250 miles, from New York City to Washington, D.C., over 5 days, carried by members of the Military-connected community.

Every step honors those who gave their lives in service to our country, every mile honors all who have served, and every hand that carries the flag honors those who continue to serve.

We begin on September 12 because that date represents more than what America endured. It represents how America responded. Twenty-five years after our nation came together in the wake of 9/11, One Flag Forward honors that same spirit of unity, service, and sacrifice while carrying it into the future.

This mission commemorates the 25th anniversary of 9/11 and the 250th anniversary of the United States.
